Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, liberal policies caused irreparable academic and emotional harm to our kids. The SGLF’s “Let Kids Learn” national ad campaign began in February 2021 and has consisted of three spots calling on Democrats to stand up to their teachers’ union bosses and put students first once again. The ads ran on television and digital platforms in Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Virginia. The campaign’s ads went viral on social media and garnered coverage from state and national media, including Fox News and CNN.

It’s Time

The first in the campaign’s series of ads, “It’s Time,” the 30-second spot, emphasized the negative impacts of school closures through the perspective of a student, who explained school is not only about learning, but also a support structure for our children.

 

Irreparable

The second ad of the campaign highlighted the irreparable academic and emotional harm that Democrats and teachers unions have done to students across the country, while also noting that conservative-led states had kids back in the classroom.

 

Childhood

“Childhood” was the third ad of the campaign and featured a montage of children watching television clips of adults enjoying the return to post-pandemic life while they remained confined to, at best, restricted, masked learning.
